its almost turkey day!
Well im starting my cooking tommorrow!Cooking and just getting some dishes ready so all i have to do is throw them in the oven.Im a bit sad that this is my first Thanksgiving without my family.This is also my first time making thanksgiving dinner i hope i dont mess it up.Hubby leaves for TDY a few days after thanksgiving and will be back hopefully for Christmas.If not we will hold Christmas for him.It snowed alot today..i took kyle out earlier and he had fun..he was ready to come in before i was though :P.Ive gotten most of my christmas cards done already..now i just need to wait until december to mail them out :P I think the holidays are getting to me a bit im feeling sad today..i guess its just we arent going to get to do all the fun things we normally do at Christmas since hubby will be gone and my family is thousands of miles away.its super duper christmasy in the house though :P

Hey hon, sorry you're feeling sad! I know how much it sucks to have hubby away, mine was away most of last winter...but I can't imagine doing it with 2 kids and so far from family. Hope you guys have a great thanksgiving, and at least you can do fun Christmas stuff with the kiddos still (we listen to Christmas music and watch the Burl Ives' Rudolph a lot!). You're doing great, you're being really strong and hopefully DH's TDY will go fast. :)
